I painted this flower arrangement from a book i had about Ikebana .
Ikebana is the art of beautifully arranging cut stems, leaves, and flowers in vases and other containers
Ikebana has long been practiced by Japanese from all walks of life to help centre the mind and reduce the tensions of the day. The process of arranging flowers in Ikebana stimulates our artistic right-brain, which in turn causes the production of Alpha-waves and Beta-endorphins.
“Ikebana is a way in which we achieve a spiritual reflection of ourselves”.
