Dancing Dolls

Thanjavur Dolls-Also known as Dancing Dolls are very unique dolls from my state tamilnadu in india.. They are made of clay and painted in bright colors. The

uniqueness of this doll is it’s head and body dance independently. The head, body and dress are 3 detachable parts and sway in a beautiful manner.

These dolls  remain vertical and upright always standing on a pedestal.

This is my entry for crazyamigo’s stripes challenge and to soartful ‘s dolls challenge.
